These are the hints for Pokemon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire! Good Luck!

Manipulate the Multipliers

When the Poké Ball passes through a Field Multiplier Lane, that Lane will become lit. When all three Lanes are lit, your Poké Ball will be upgraded. Try pressing the Right and Left Flippers to change the position of the Lane lights, making it easier to light all three.

Rescue the Poké Ball

When the Poké Ball is dropping down an Out Lane, put the Flipper up on one side and then tilt the Field up. If your timing is right, the Poké Ball will bounce up and land on top of the Flipper.

Tilt the Field

When the Poké Ball passes through the Right or Left Loop toward the Field Multiplier Lane, tilt the Field. The Poké Ball might pass through the Field Multiplier Lane and be upgraded.

Hold the Poké Ball

When a Flipper is up, you can trap and hold the Poké Ball. Once the Poké Ball is still, it's easier to use the Flipper to aim for the shot you desire. If you hit the Poké Ball with the top of the Flipper, it will shoot diagonally. The middle of the Flipper will shoot to the same side as the Flipper, or upward.

Slot Mode

When the Poké Ball passes through an Out or Return Lane, its Hole Light is lit. When all four lights are lit and the Poké Ball is shot into the Center Hole, Slot Mode is activated. Increase your chances to activate Slot Mode by using the Left and Right Flippers to move the lights.

Free Poké Balls!

Wondering how to increase your number of Poké Balls? In the following situations, the amount of Poké Balls will increase by one:

  • When you get an Extra Ball in Slot Mode.

  • When you buy an Extra Ball at the Pokémon Mart.

  • When you catch more than 15 Pokémon.

  • Occasionally, the Ball Upgrade will be changed to a 1UP item on the Ruby Field.
